If you have employees then its essential that you keep up to date with the changes to the National Minimum Wage and the National Living Wage.

National Living Wage

Based on recommendations from the Low Pay Commission the National Living Wage will increase by 4.9% from £7.83 up to £8.21 from April 2019. This is for employees aged 25 and over.

National Minimum Wage

Again following recommendations the following new rates will also apply from April 2019:

Apprentices up to £3.90 from £3.70 Aged 16-17 up to £4.35 from £4.20 Aged 18-20 up to £6.15 from £5.90 Aged 21-24 up to £7.70 from £7.38
